Sounds like a stick drift to me. I fixed mine with some isopropyl alkohol and q-tips. Just put a tiny bit of the alkohol on the q-tip and rub it on the area where the stick is connected with the controller. Now spin the stick around for a bit to make sure the alkohol gets everywhere.
