Just over all a really fun class, it’s like a male sorceress but doesn’t hit as hard and can actually take a few hits.An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.Sorc and shadow hunter were amazing feeling when I tried in the RU servers. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities. Paladin has a lot of cool looking aoesPersonally think Eso WD and Striker (either variation, but probably wouldn't go for Deathblow as an early alt) are incredibly fun. I would recommend playing what you enjoy over what sounds like the most DPS since at the end of the day, whoever has the best gear will do the most damage.With that being said my top 3 picks for highest DPS when played properly are Barrage Artillerist, Igniter Sorc, and Empress Arcana. My personal pick being Arty due to the massive amount of push-immunity allowing you to greed entire rotations where most classes would have to reposition or dodge. 8. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked. The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots.
